Why do I need to select 12.8V or 16V? What’s the difference between both programs?
Select 12.8V or 16V to match the specified charge voltage for your LiFePO4/LFP battery in your performance/race motorcycle, car or craft.
How do I select the correct program?
Connect the charger to AC power. Push and release the select button to choose 12.8V or 16V. Then connect to the battery.
Automatic BMS reset: how does it work?
for batteries with a battery management system (BMS) that protects against deep discharge. IMPORTANT! Before proceeding, confirm the nominal battery voltage matches the selected charge voltage. The OptiMate Lithium is ready to automatically reset the BMS system within an advanced battery, indicated by LED #3 flashing 5 times every 15 seconds as reset pulses are delivered. After connection of the battery to the charger the battery’s BMS should reset within 15-20 seconds
Do I have to select the recovery program?
The OptiMate Lithium Select will first test the battery and start automatically to recover the battery whenever necessary.
